Sandra Vilaplana
Senior R&D&I Consultant and European Project Manager
With over 15 years of experience as a consultant advising public and private entities on the design and management of strategies for obtaining funding in European R&D&I programmes, Sandra Vilaplana currently heads the Strategy, Business Development and Operations department at Kveloce R&D&I.
She holds a degree in Chemistry from the University of Valencia, a Master’s degree in Business Management and Administration (Executive MBA) from the Lluís Vives Business School – Valencia Chamber of Commerce, and a Master’s degree in Food Management and Safety from the Polytechnic University of Valencia. In addition, she has specialised in European Union R&D&I funding programmes and instruments, including a CDTI Manager Specialisation course (May 2017) in Brussels, with specific training in Brussels and participation in key seminars for European Union R&D&I experts.
In her current role, Sandra is responsible for identifying business growth opportunities for KVeloce, opening new strategic markets — such as the recent expansion of Kveloce in Brussels — and overseeing the implementation of internal processes that guarantee the quality, efficiency and sustainability of the services provided. She also coordinates multidisciplinary teams in international contexts and leads the negotiation of strategic alliances and consortia for European projects, mainly in programmes such as Horizon Europe, EU4Health, Erasmus+, COSME and CERV, among others.
He is currently driving the consolidation of new business lines and specialised teams within Kveloce. His focus is on driving the company’s growth, formulating business strategies, strengthening strategic alliances and ensuring operational efficiency for the company’s success.
