Aran Blanco, PhD
PhD in Environmental Sciences from the University of Murcia, in the area of Soil Science. Master in Sustainable Use and Management of Mediterranean Soils and degree in Environmental Sciences from the University of Murcia, with a stay at the Georg-August-Universität Göttingen (Germany). Representative in Murcia of Kveloce.
Specialised in the environmental field, they has published articles and given lectures and seminars on the sustainable management and conservation of soils in Mediterranean areas. In addition, they has worked as a teacher of Vocational Training in the field of Industrial Chemistry and provided technical assistance in studies and technical services. They has done their postdoctoral research through the Talent Promotion Programme of the Valencian Innovation Agency, carrying out the TICSOIL project for the incorporation of citizen science in soil protection.
Currently, they has 7 years of experience in writing R+D+i proposals, at national and European regional level, especially the international programmes H2020 and ERASMUS+ in which their is also a SEPIE evaluator, and participating in projects related to the Circular Economy and environmental education (URBANREC, SUSKIDS, AGRO2CIRCULAR, VISS) and the transition to the bioeconomy (BIO2REG).
