Marina Canas Calvo

Junior R&D Consultant

She holds a degree in Sociology from the University of Salamanca (2021) and an Official Master’s Degree in Social Welfare: Family Intervention from the University of Valencia. Her academic training has focused on the analysis of social issues from an applied perspective, with a special emphasis on quantitative methodologies.

During her undergraduate and postgraduate studies, she actively participated in social research projects, developing skills in planning, coordination, and data analysis. She has worked with statistical tools such as R, STATA and SPSS, applying this knowledge in the development and application of, for example, the R package netCoin, aimed at the analysis of coincidence networks within the framework of the academic project Network Coincidence Analysis (NCA), collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in management and daily execution tasks.

Since 2023, she has been working at Kveloce as a Junior Research Technician on European Projects. Since then, she has played an active role as a consultant in the technical preparation of proposals, especially within the framework of the Erasmus+ programme. She also participates in the implementation and monitoring of projects funded by Erasmus+ and Horizon Europe, providing additional support in technical assistance tasks.
