Jessica Silvana Suarez Romero
Graduate in Government and International Relations from the Universidad Santo Tomás de Colombia (2021). Official master’s degree from the Universitat Politécnica de Valencia in Development Cooperation, specialising in Project Management and Development Processes.
Experience in the public and private sectors in Colombia and abroad in technical support to Global Humanitarian International Cooperation projects in conjunction with USAID on issues related to children in conflict scenarios. She worked for two years as an intern at the Colombian Embassy in Washington D.C. providing support in consular management procedures and collaboration in the development of projects for the Colombian community. In the course of her university career she has focused on research topics related to cooperation and human rights education in conflict and post-conflict scenarios, participating in national conferences as a speaker and co-authoring two publications on topics related to peace education.
