Alba Matamoros

Head of Project Coordination and Management
Senior R&D Consultant and European Project Manager

Economist specialised in innovation and sustainability, with experience in managing European research projects. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics (2018) and an Official Master’s in Economic Policy and Public Economics, both from the University of Valencia.

Her areas of expertise include economics and social change, circular economy, and social impact assessment. As part of her PhD studies at the University of Valencia, she is currently researching the development of regional models for circular economy adoption.

Since joining Kveloce in 2018, she has worked on the preparation, implementation, monitoring, and financial reporting of European projects, primarily within the Horizon Europe framework. She has led the implementation of European research projects such as Agro2Circular, among others.

She currently leads the Project Coordination and Management Department, ensuring that all initiatives are executed as planned and comply with the requirements of European funding programmes.

In 2024, she joined Knowledge Value Consulting in Belgium, relocating to Brussels to support the launch of several newly funded research projects. She regularly participates in conferences on circular economy and sustainable innovation, sharing her expertise in European project management.
