This past October the first meetings were celebrated for the two projects being co-financed by the Erasmus+ program of our client University of Burgos, leader of both projects.
The two projects were conceded on July of 2017, in the last Erasmus+ call of strategic associations. In both cases the topic of the project is that of educative innovation, one of them devoted to children’s education and the other to the formation of adults.

The project BOTSTEM “roBOTics and STEM education for children and primary schools” led by the teacher Ileana M.Greca, aims to increase the utilization of innovative methodologies in the first years of schooling, specifically, the research-based leaning (inquiry-based learning) and the integrated STEM education (Sciences, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics), adding robotics to pedagogic practices. The STEM education combines Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics as a tool to raise the interest of students for the scientific-technical matters. In this way, this methodology proposes to the students situations that they have to resolve through technological solutions and evidence.

With the BOTSTEM project, robotics and programming will be added up to the STEM methodology, which are key aspects in a not so distant education for the primary education students. During the 35 months of duration of the project, a multidisciplinary consortium formed by 6 partners with profiles coming from investigation, TIC and non-profit entities from different countries (Italy, Switzerland, Spain and Cyprus) will work on the project. Among this 6 partners there’s K-veloce I+D+i: our role will be the definition of the infrastructure of evaluation of the social impact and its measuring; also, we will give support in diffusion, communication and administrative implementation tasks.
