Programme: ERASMUS+ KA220-SCH – Cooperation partnerships in school education

(Project KA220-SCH-9A787316)

Date: 2021-2024

The eEarlycare-T project addresses the specific need for training and updating of professionals working with children aged 0-6 years. The updating process focuses on the use of digital resources such as the Internet of Things, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence techniques, which are especially relevant in early care work settings that are based on systematic observation in natural contexts. Therefore, the aim of the project is to reduce the knowledge and training gap that professionals suffer from regarding new technologies, paving the way for their use and practical implementation, enabling the current technological transformation towards higher quality and more accurate educational and therapeutic intervention actions in the field of early care.
To this end, the project will develop: i) a curriculum for the updating of early care professionals in which advanced technologies are applied, ii) a curriculum for the specialisation of early care graduates in which advanced technologies are applied, and iii) a virtual simulation laboratory where advanced technologies will be applied in natural or simulated contexts.
