NPower, an HE project coordinated by CETENMA, focuses on tackling nitrogen (N) and phosphorus (P) pollution by creating region-specific solutions to restore ecosystems and promote circular practices. It will establish four Regional Clusters: Spain (South Europe), Belgium (Central Europe), Finland (North Europe), and Ireland (West Europe). Starting in Murcia, Spain—a region facing critical N/P challenges—NPower will model N/P flows, demonstrate recovery technologies, and design tailored governance measures to reduce pollution and improve resource management.
By transferring knowledge across regions and engaging policymakers at all levels, NPower aims to cut N and P emissions significantly, save the EU billions of euros, and contribute to key goals like the European Green Deal and Zero Pollution ambition.
In the project, Kveloce will play a key role that includes the definition of the multi-actor approach methodology during the first nine months; the support in workshops from month 7 to 23, based on SSH methodologies and the creation of a scoring system to quantify replicability; and the leadership of the WP6 impact measurement between months 22 and 48. In addition, by month 6, you will be responsible for delivering the project’s ethics report.
